At MDP Contracting, we're determined to make construction management less complicated and more efficient for general contractors. That goal has driven us ever since we opened our doors, in 1996. It's also kept us firmly at odds with the rest of the construction industry.
While other subcontractors were dropping service lines and assuming less and less project responsibilities, we did the opposite. We increased our services from one (hanging drywall) to half-a-dozen. In fact, we now offer general contractors the most complete, single-source package of build-out services available in Northern Virginia, Central Maryland and Washington, D.C.
And that's precisely the point, because we discovered that the best way to streamline construction management is to concentrate the work in fewer hands.
Our packaged approach allows us to control the delivery of six interrelated build-out services:

• Drywall installation
• Structural wall insulation
• Ceiling acoustical systems
• Painting and wall coverings
• Interior Demolition

and that control gives us enormous scheduling flexibility. We can reallocate work crews, when needed, to cope with temporary on-site conditions and delays. And, we are able to run a tightly coordinated overall operation. While our build-out service package is not all-inclusive, we estimate it can cut the typical number of required subcontractors by half.
