​At MDP Contracting, we are always on the lookout for experienced, dynamic, hard-working and highly-skilled craftspeople to add to our project teams. We're an equal opportunity employer, and we offer both seasonal and year-round part-time and full-time employment.
To qualify as a worker on one of our project teams, an applicant needs to be able to demonstrate a minimum of five years' full-time experience in either: metal framing work, drywall installation, acoustical systems installation or painting. He or she also must provide us with references.
Foreman/supervisor candidates must meet all the worker requirements and have an additional minimum of five years' full-time construction industry experience working in a leadership/supervisory role. A successful candidate must know how to interact effectively with site superintendents, be able to read/interpret architects' drawings and plans, have experience preparing takedowns and layouts and know how to effectively manage crews.
Standard benefits include: 1 week of annual paid vacation, eligibility for a yearly performance bonus and training in blueprint reading.
